The 14 Karat Gold Brick is an extremely rare set given out by LEGO in the early eighties. It contains a single part, a 14-karat solid gold brick.

Description

The brick itself is a single 2X4 brick, made entirely of 14K gold. It is set in a black plastic case, with the LEGO Logo embossed on it in golden letters.

Background

The set was given out in the early eighties to employees who had worked at the Hohenwestedt, Germany LEGO factory for over twenty-five years, and to some of LEGO's business partners of the time.
