2144 Nex 3.0 is a Hero Factory set that was released in July 2011. The set contains an orange Hero, Julius Nex's second variant.

In tiger mode on Savage Planet, Nex's armour is made up of three colours; his traditional orange, the Savage Planet transparent green badge, and a few silver pieces. His shoulders are wider than those of Bulk 3.0. Nex has no armour on his forearms; on his left forearm, however, he uses a shield with two tiger-claw spikes connected. His helmet resembles the head of a saber-tooth tiger, and he has a green core and a green head.
Background Edit
Nex was built with the 2.0 system and helped to fight the Fire Villains in Tanker Station 22. He eventually received the 3.0 upgrade for traveling to Savage Planet, as the 2.0 armour did not react well to the surroundings on Quatros. His LEGO.com description refers to 'blasting the Witch Doctor with tiger animal power'.

Join a mission to rescue Quatros from destruction! Get to the transport stations! Join Furno and Stringer on jungle planet Quatros! The planet will be ruined if Witch Doctor finishes taking the planet’s Quaza core. Time to use Julius Nex’s tiger animal power and double-bladed tiger claw in action. Watch out for Witch Doctor’s vicious beasts! Intel reports say they are prone to attack anything metal and shiny.
