VW Beetle + Showroom is a System i Leg HO 1:87 Vehicles set first released in 1958. It's production ran from 1958 to 1962. From 1963 onward, the showroom was changed, and the piece count went from 4 to 3. The name was changed to just VW Beetle, but the set number remained the same.
Description
It includes one car in 1:87 scale, and a showroom which had an clear lid with a series of holes on the back, so when opening you could place the lid onto the side brick, and it would stay open.
Notes
- The VW Beetle in this set has a smaller back window compared to the version in the set 260 VW Beetle.
- Set numbers 260, 261 and 661 were made of transparent plastic and were painted after moulding.
