30059 Tank is a Star Wars set to be released in 2012. The "Tank" is a Multi Troop Transport used in the Clone Wars by the Separatists. The Multi Troop Transport is used as a tank and to carry soldiers/droids to other places. It is also called the MTT for short.

The Tank is very similar to Trade Fedration MTTs used in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, but with the separatist colours of grey and blue. The side cannons are represented in a pair of Binoculars on each side, a technique used by many other mini-scale models.
BackgroundEdit
The MTTs first appeared in the invasion of Naboo. Some were destroyed by Jar Jar Binks and his army of Gungans. The rest were shut down when Anakin destroyed the Trade Federation Control Ship. They also made brief appearances in the Clone Wars, carrying Battle Droids into battle.
Notes Edit
- Even though it is called a "tank" The MTT is more of a troop carrier than a tank.
