4192 Fountain of Youth is a Pirates of the Caribbean set released in April of 2011.

Description

Waterfall cave: The waterfall cave is built on top of slanted and normal tiles alike.[1] at the front are two columns. The cave has an arch supported by slopes and has a "waterfall" piece placed onto the back. The "waterfall" piece is made of flexible plastic so it appears as if when a minifigure "walks" through, the waterfall is pouring down on it.[2]

Fountain: The fountain is built on top of slanted tiles. The "stairs" of the fountain are formed from slanted tiles and rounds placed on top of each other.[3] transparent 2x2 rounds are attached three times on top of each other, and placed on top of the "stairs" of the fountain.[4]

Notes

  • While it is called "Fountain of Youth" in the US and the UK, it is called "Aqua de Vida" in Europe.
  • This version of the Fountain of Youth does not appear in the movie, as the movie's fountain was a hollow rock with a small spout of water dripping down from within the rock. It was raised and it had steps like in its LEGO set with columns surrounding it. There is no actual fountain and there is no waterfall. The reason for this change of design on LEGO's part is unknown, but the LEGO version does bear a striking resemblance to one version shown in the film's concept art.
  • In the British Summer 2011 LEGO Catalogue, this set is priced at £19.99.
