4709 Hogwarts Castle is a Harry Potter set released in 2001. This set is the first version of Hogwarts made by LEGO.
[edit] Description
The first LEGO rendition of Hogwarts contains the Great Hall, the Gryffindor Tower and some other rooms that appear in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer´s Stone. The Great Hall is the biggest single room in this set, but contains only one table and Dumbledore's seat, as well as a fireplace. The ceiling can be decorated with either a Gryffindor or a Slytherin flag, to recreate the End-of-Term Feast from the first movie.
The Gryffindor common room contains the portray of the fat lady fixed to a revolving door and a knight's armour with an oval Gryffindor shield. Just beneath the rooftop of the tower is a telescope.
The set also contains one of the boats in which the students arive at the school.
