4727 Aragog in the Dark Forest is a Harry Potter set released in the year 2002. It depicts the scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in which Harry Potter and Ron Weasley travel into the Forbidden Forest following the spiders to learn more about the attacks going on at Hogwarts. The set contains the giant spider Aragog and his section of the Forbidden Forest. Harry Potter and Ron Weasley minifigures are included.

Description Edit

The Forest Edit

4727 Aragog in the Dark Forest is a set that features parts of the Forbidden Forest. The first is a large tree believed to be the Whomping Willow with a hidden compartment in the tree trunk. The other is Aragog's home, containing two spiders (his children) and a lever that causes the spider webs to flip over and trap a minifigure. The set features a tree, spiders, cobwebs, and two owls.

Minifigures Edit

The minifigures are Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in casual clothes, and it features the giant spider Aragog. Aragog's abdomen is hinged, his legs are adapted from dinosaur pieces, and transparent red pieces are behind his eyes.
