4851 The Origins is a Spider-Man set released in 2003. The set represents the science lab where Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider, becoming Spider-Man, and where Norman Osborn became the Green Goblin. It includes 212 pieces and six minifigures.

Description[]

This set consists of two separate sections, the lab where Peter Parker was bitten, and the experimental laboratory where Norman Osborne became the Green Goblin.

The first section of the set includes Peter Parker, Mary Jane, and (oddly) Spider-Man minifigures, as well as five different spiders. It consists of four separate set pieces, including a small table, a glass cage for two of the spiders, a large electron microscope, and an archway with a spider web woven in one corner.

The second section includes a Scientist, Norman Osborn, and Green Goblin minifigures, and its primary feature is a large glass fronted cage, which contains Norman Osborne/Green Goblin. Its other features include a table with a computer with the Green Goblin's mask mounted on it, and a computer mounted on a small table.
