6009 Black Knight is a Castle set released in 1992. It includes a knight minifigure a horse, two swords, the new oval shield, and a small weapon rack with a lance and a crossbow.

The knight is very similar to his counterpart in the 6086 Dungeon Masters Castle, sharing the facial hair, black visor on grey helmet, and black horse. However in 6009, the dragon plume is red instead of yellow, he lacks the red horse barding, and he has a brown (wooden) lance instead of a grey (metal) one that had only one flag instead of two.
