6175 Crystal Explorer, also known as the DSRV II, is an Aquanauts submarine manned by two minifigures, an Aquanaut commander and a technician. Also included are an octopus, bushes of seaweed, two crystals and a magnetic storage box.

Description

The submarine has two robot arms, one with a gripper and one with a magnet. The cockpit section at the front has enough room for two standing minifigures. On the top of it is a working compass. In the middle of the sub is a small storage compartment covered by two hinged panels. Although the aft section is made up of parts that are usually used for cockpits, a design flaw makes it impossible for a minifigure with diving helmet to sit normally inside it.

This is the biggest submarine of the Aquanauts.
