The 6965 Mini TIE Intercepter is a Star Wars mini model of a TIE Interceptor released in 2004.

Description Edit

The set is made up of black pieces. In the middle of the set is a 1x1 brick with 4 studs on all of its sides. The front side has a transparent dish, while the back has a sand blue dish. The set has 4 wings, two on the top, and two upside-down on the bottom, all with 1x2 black tiles on them. In the middle of the wings on both sides are two dark stone grey sticks, representing the guns.

Background Edit

TIE Interceptors were extremely fast starfighters used by the Galactic Empire. The TIE Interceptor was one of the fastest starfighters of its time, and were used to hunt down ships and destroy them. They were once used to destroy the Millennium Falcon, but failed and were destroyed. It was armed with SFS L-s9.3 laser cannons.

• The TIE Interceptor is an exclusive for certain retailers, including the Japanese candy company Kabaya. X-wing (set 6963 X-Wing Fighter) and Slave I (6964 Mini Boba Fett's Slave I) are also Kabaya exclusives.
• Part 3070bpx16 is exclusive to this set.
