7121 Naboo Swamp is a Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace set released in 1999. The set contains Qui-Gon Jinn, Jar Jar Binks, and two Battle Droids as its minifigures. This set also contains a swamp and two STAPs for the Battle Droids to ride on.

Background[]

Lianorm Swamp was a swamp on Naboo. It stretched over an area of thirty-four square miles and was located on the edge of Lake Paonga and the foothills of the Gallo Mountains.

Millennia before the Invasion of Naboo, the Elders built a monument within the Lianorm Swamp which was later considered a sacred place by the native Gungans. The city of Moenia was located near the outskirts of the swamp and served as a meeting place and center of trade between the Naboo and the Gungans.

In 32 BBY, it was taken over by the Trade Federation during their invasion of the planet. At this time, it served as the adopted homeland of Jar Jar Binks, and it was from here that Binks led Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi to Otoh Gunga. Around 32 BBY, podraces were organized in the region and the Lianorm Raceway was set up.

Description[]

The guns on the STAP are long grey sticks connected on by clips. Below that is a brick that the droids hold on to, with some brown bricks under that. There are two gun backs at the sides. Underneath that is are two transparent bricks to hold the STAP up.
The trees have are made of green and grey bricks stacked atop each other for trunks, with further brown bricks for roots. Three green vines are attached to each tree, to represent leaves.

The entire set is set upon a blue baseplate, and contains a light yellow clam.
