7621 The Lost Tomb was released in 2008 as part of the LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark line. Included are Indiana Jones, Marion and a Skeleton minifigures.

Description Edit

The tomb is built mainly of light sand colored pieces. The two Anubis statues can fall forwards when a pin is pulled out from underneath them. Behind the hieroglyphics there are ten snakes, which can be released and will fall down over the Ark. The two back walls can also fall in, and behind one of them there is a skeleton.

Notes Edit

It also contains the hieroglyph depicting C-3PO and R2-D2 from Star Wars, which was a reference inserted into the Movie by George Lucas. In the movie scenes the hieroglyphics are on the Well of Souls walls.
This set was included in the Product Collections set K7623 Indiana Jones Classic Adventure Collection.

Seeking the lost Ark of the Covenant, Indiana Jones and Marion have become trapped in a snake-infested tomb. With the torch burning low, Indy desperately tries to save Marion. Thinking quickly, he climbs the Anubis statue using his whip, topples the statue, and then rides it crashing down through the tomb wall to freedom.
