[edit] Trivia
- Although it was released on July 26, 2008, it was only released at Lego.com and Tesco (UK). It was released in stores as a Target exclusive in October of 2008, however it was on their website several weeks before the street date.
- This set was short lived and lasted less then four months. It was re-released, however, in late July 2009.
The Republic Fighter Tank, or TX-130 has two large cannons in the front. At the top there is a anti-infantry turret, manned by a gunner that can pop out of the top of the tank. It is worked by a simple mechanism that allows the gunner's seat to pop up if the back of the tank is pulled out. A second clone (or Jedi that sometimes will take control of a TX-130) will sit inside the tank and drive it. On the sides of the tank on the "wings" there are six flick-fire missiles that are hidden and can be deployed quickly for surprise attacks. Also located on the wings, are small storage compartments for holding spare blasters. The wings can move up and down adjusting the angle of them. The front of the tank can be opened to reveal the engine, consisting of four small cylinder pieces of a green color .
