7965 Millennium Falcon is a classic Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope set released in the second Star Wars wave of 2011 in July of that year. So far, this has been the sixth Millennium Falcon released since its first version in 2000; the others are 7190 Millennium Falcon, and 4504 Millennium Falcon plus the ultimate collector's series set 10179 Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon, the micro-scale version; 4488 Mini Millennium Falcon, and the mid-scale version; 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon. The set features 1,254 pieces to assemble a large Millennium Falcon model with six minifigures. The set depicts the scene when the Millennium Falcon escapes the Death Star in A New Hope, and the battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader takes place.
Exterior: The exterior of the Millennium Falcon features a cylindrical cockpit mounted to a slanted wall attached to the main body leading to a long cylindrical tube reaching to the large gun turret. All around the main body of the large space ship are 12 long slanted tiles serving as the sloped look, and are able to be flipped up for playing within. To the second slanted tiles at the right side is a small turnable dish. Right after the third slanted tile is a short cylindrical tube with two round, flat tiles serving as vents. To the third slanted tiles after the tube are small dishes serving as the large vents, among as the other two slanted tiles afterwards.
Interior: At the front of the interior of the ship are slopes to let the front tile set down on, leading to the middle turret are two seats set down next to two computers. To the right from looking at the front of the interior are four seats set next to the "Dejarik" board. Following further after the board and seats is a hiding compartment to lay in a minifigure which can later be dropped out. To the left of the hiding compartment is a gun turret that can fit in a minifigure while turning 360 degrees.
The Millennium Falcon was a YT-1300 Correllian Spice Freighter that originally belonged to smuggler Lando Calrissian before he lost it to smuggler Han Solo who then modified it.
