8257 Cyber Strikers is a TECHNIC CyberSlam/Competition set released in 1998. It contains two TECHNIC Figures.

Description

The set is made up of two similar vehicles called "strikers". Both have a chassis and a "neck" that is able to lurch forward. A cockpit with a lurch-able, rubber dome sits on both. A button can be pulled back which will cause the rubber dome to extend forward to fight the other striker.

As for differences, one striker is coloured violet and the other turquoise.

The violet striker yellow, caterpillar wheels and tubing over the cockpit while the turquoise one has tubing at the base, and more standard wheels, among several small differences.
