8535 Lewa is a BIONICLE set released in 2001 and is one of the six Toa Mata sets. It features the Toa of Air, Lewa, who wears the Kanohi Miru, the mask of levitation.

Set Description Edit

Lewa has been released four times in set form. First as a Toa Mata, in 2001, second as a Toa Nuva in 2002. In 2008, he was first coupled with Pohatu and Kopaka as the Toa for the Phantoka canister sets in winter 2008, and was released in his vehicle-adapted form with 8943 Axalara T9.

As a Toa Mata, he had an axe that helped him slice through the undergrowth. His right arm can be moved if you turn the gear on his back. As a Toa Nuva, he had twin air katana that helped him fly. As a Phantoka he had a Air Saber, and in his vehicle-adapted form he had no weapons but instead piloted the Axalara T9. Turning the gear on his back will cause his arms to rotate.

Notes Edit

• Two versions of this set were released: One with a mini CD and one without.
• 1392 Kongu has the same mask, but in turquoise.
