8805 Minifigures Series 5 is a series of the Minifigures theme that was released on August 22, 2011.

Description

The fifth series of Collectable Minifigures was first revealed at the Nuremburg Toy Fair in February, where all sixteen minifigures were put on display. It was officially released on August 22. They reportedly appeared in early August at a few locations, such as LEGOLAND Billund, Denmark on August 4, 2011.^[1] They were released at some TOYWORLD stores in New Zealand on August 13.

The minifigures come in light blue polybags that include the bump code system that was used for Series 3 and Series 4, though different code schemes are in use.^[2]

This series introduced twenty new parts and used twelve from previous series.
