9678 Twin-pod Cloud Car & Bespin is a Star Wars themed set released in 2012. The set featuresa miniature model of a Cloud Car, a Lobot minifigure, and Bespin planet pieces.

Description Edit

The set consists of three parts: a model of the planet Bespin, a dual-pod Cloud Car, and a stand top display the constructs and a minifigure on. The model of Bespin is made out of two interconnecting half-spheres, printed with a swirling tan design. The Cloud Car is made of three parts: two sleek, pointed pods, and a rectangular section connecting the two. It is almost entirely orange. The stand is black, and has spots to place Lobot and the Cloud Car model. The planet Bespin is set on a separate circular piece, and placed next to the rest of the stand.

Gas planet Bespin plays a key role in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back when Luke Skywalker travels to Cloud City to rescue his friends. However, it's a trap and he is forced to battle evil Darth Vader. This set includes an accurate model of Bespin, a Lobot minifigure, a twin-pod cloud car mini-model, a weapon, and a display stand with name plaque. Collect the other Series 2 sets: 9677 X-wing Starfighter & Yavin 4 and 9679 AT-ST & Endor!
