A Line in the Sand is the sixty-ninth episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and the fifth episode of season seven.

Plot

The Ninja-minus Jay-arrive at Mega Monster Amusement Park and engage the Vermillion, though Zane is still bothered by P.I.X.A.L.'s nonresponsiveness and the team eventually notices that Jay is absent as well. He is then shown to be at his parents' scrapyard, which is also under attack by the Vermillion, though Ed and Edna are giving a good account of themselves. Back at the underground swamp where the Time Twins have their base, Cyrus Borg is forced to work on their plans by General Machia when they learn that another of the Time Blades has returned. Locating it using Acronix's BorgWatch-much to Krux's annoyance-they contact Commander Blunck and Commander Raggmunk and order them to retrieve it. As a result their forces leave the amusement park and scrapyard, though the Vermillion from the latter also abduct Edna; as a result, Ed reveals a bike he was working on as a birthday present for Jay, and the two work quickly to modify it.

The other Ninja pursue the Vermillion to the location of the Time Blade, only to be affected by its Slow Down power and left at the mercy of their enemies. Fortunately, Jay soon arrives on his new Desert Lightning bike and is able to retrieve the Time Blade and give it to his friends, though he leaves to take his mother to safety. With their Ultra Stealth Raider in pieces, the Ninja use the blade to slow down the Vermillion and board the Raider's jet component with Ed. Blunck and Raggmunk then report their failure to Machia, but she and the Time Twins remain confident that they can recover the blade.
