Aldar Beedo is a Star Wars bounty hunter and Podracer pilot who competed against Anakin Skywalker and Sebulba in a Podrace known as the Boonta Eve Classic.

Description Edit

First Variant Edit

This minifigure is mainly made out of pieces used in the Battle Droid figures, and has the same face as one of the Hydronauts.

Second Variant Edit

Aldar Beedo is a minifigure made with a specified and unique mould. He was only seen in one set. Although he never appeared as a minifigure in any of the LEGO Star Wars games, his Podracer did, in both LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.

BackgroundEdit

During the Boonta Eve Classic, he was tasked with eliminating Sebulba, the champion Podracer, by another Podracer, Wan Sandage. In the end Beedo failed to eliminate Sebulba.

Notes Edit

When the 7159 Podracer Bucket was first released, the original Aldar Beedo minifigure included in the set was only ever referred to as a "Generic Alien". However, nine years after its release, this minifigure was identified as Aldar Beedo in LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary.
