Rene Belloq was working with the Germans to find the Ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Background
Belloq is Indy's rival and has opposed him multiple times in the search for artifacts. He was killed after looking into the Ark. Belloq has appeared in only one set, the 7623 Temple Escape set.
He has also appeared in the video game LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues in three forms: Belloq (Jungle), Belloq (Normal), and Belloq (Robes). Belloq (Jungle) does not appear in LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, but he is included in the portable versions.
Notes
- Belloq has the same face printing used for Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter in the 2007 Hogwarts set.
- In the video game, Satipo was allied with him, but in Raiders of the Lost Ark he was not.
- His original variation is only in the video games so far.
- His jungle outfit on the lego games is the same as in 7623 Temple Escape.
