Articles for Scrap - Proposed Mergers - Proposed Splits - Proposed Name Changes
Overview
Mergeto

Proposed Mergers lists articles that are proposed to be merged into other articles.

To propose an article merger, put {{Mergeto}} on the top the respective page and, then click here and replace Page 1 and Page 2 with the names of the two articles that you want to be merged together, and replace Page 3 with the name of the article you want them merged into. Please note that Page 2 and Page 3 can be the same article, if applicable. Briefly explain why you want the articles to be merged directly under the header, and then sign (~~~~) directly under the ;Support section. If you object, please supply concrete reasons for doing so.

A list of past proposals is available here.

NOTE: Nominations for duplicate articles (articles that are about the same set with the same set number) do not need to be placed here, as they are technically the same page. Add a {{Delete}} tag with the reason to the duplicate article instead.

Heartlake City, merge into Friends

  • Don't in-universe locations usually just go on the respective theme's page? NightblazeSaber 09:08, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
  • What did we do with BIONICLE? --Czech 09:14, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
    • Well, we have a special policy with BIONICLE since it's such a big universe, we let the BIONICLE wiki cover all the stuff such as locations, individual items in games, etc, while we just stick to the products NightblazeSaber 09:18, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
      • I have overly mixed feelings of mak8ng a Friends Wiki. Anyone Agree/disagree? --Czech 09:24, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
        • There already is one [1]. But, due to the relatively small size of story material, it would be extremely unlikely that we'd have a special policy like the BIONICLE and MLN policies. NightblazeSaber 09:30, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
  • I say it depends. If that article is built up enough and has enough content, it could easily be its own article. - CJC 10:27, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

Kongu Mahri (minifigure), merge into Kongu (Minifigure) / Jaller Mahri (minifigure) merge into Jaller (minifigure) / Nuparu Mahri (minifigure) merge into Nuparu (minifigure) / Hewkii Mahri (minifigure) merge into Hewkii (minifigure) / Hahli Mahri (minifigure) merge into Hahli (minifigure) / Matoro Mahri (minifigure) merge into Matoro (minifigure)

The articles simply called '{character name} (minifigure)' are only about their Inika minifigure forms. Surely their Mahri forms should be on those pages as well, instead of being separate pages? After all, the Mahri versions are a variation of the same characters in minifigure form. -KoN Talk 11:14, January 3, 2012 (UTC)

Hello? Well if I don't get anyone disagreeing with me I might as well go and do it soon. -KoN Talk 18:46, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
(somehow completely missed this) looks like it's closed now, but definitely needed to be merged NightblazeSaber 11:29, January 15, 2012 (UTC)
Seems reasonable to me. -Cligra Join the redlink war!
Just do it :P I don't know anything about Mahri/Inika/whatever, so I didn't say. - nxt
Ah, okay. :P -KoN Talk 18:57, January 5, 2012 (UTC)

Build and Rebuild into Bricks and More

Build and Rebuild isn't the theme. Bricks and More is. LEGO lists the sets as Bricks and More. The only site that called them Build and Rebuild was Brickset and they've changed them to Bricks and More. Build and Rebuild is just something on the pack to tell you that you can make lots of stuff. - CJC 11:26, January 15, 2012 (UTC)

So it isn't a subtheme? -King of Nynrah Talk 11:28, January 15, 2012 (UTC)
If it definitely isn't a theme/subtheme, speedy merge. NightblazeSaber 11:29, January 15, 2012 (UTC)
Per NHL then. -King of Nynrah Talk 11:30, January 15, 2012 (UTC)
The reason I didn't speedy merge is because I don't have time to, because it also involves changing the categories, 2012 article and the set articles. - CJC 11:42, January 15, 2012 (UTC)
  • Merged Cats. - nxt

Fisherman (Super Heroes), merge into Fisherman

* As nominator. They're the same minifigure, except the Super Heroes minifig doesn't have a beard... NightblazeSaber 09:54, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

  • Neutral well, the beard is darker, skin is flesh, and pole is brown, but those are the only differences I see. I don't know if I'd say it's enough for it's own page. --Berrybrick (Talk) 10:17, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
  • I agree that it should NOT be it's own page. There are very few differences and they are basicly the same minifig... Wiki contributer 10:01 P.M. March/28/2012
  • There are, as BB noted above, differences. I would support keeping the pages separate, as they are therefore not the same fig. -Cligra Join the redlink war!
  • The minifigures are different, but I don't think that the fisherman from Super Heroes do not deserve a page. The minifigure's existence in the short isn't important, just mention in Fisherman that a minifigure in the Super Heroes Short use his torso and legs.User:Soivan52
  • I agree with Soivan52. User:Legoindy7734
  • I agree with Berrybrick. I have an army Loki We have a Hulk IronManFinal Loki's Staff It's here at last.Avengers-Aliens-Gif Legosuperheroesfan 11:05, April 18, 2012 (UTC)
  • Didn't know there were differences. Neutral now I guess. NightblazeSaber 11:41, April 18, 2012 (UTC)
  • Per Soivan52. -Konicle2 19:25, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
    • I don't understand his comment. He used a double negative on how he isn't not important and then said to merge. :P --Berrybrick (Talk) 19:27, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
      • What I can make out from it is that it's too insignificant to have its own page and we should just put something like "a minifigure similar to this appears in the LEGO Batman Short" on the Fisherman page. That's my stance on this anyway. -Konicle2 19:33, April 25, 2012 (UTC)

To King of Nynrah: Sorry for the mistake. It should be "I don't think that the fisherman from Super Heroes deserve a page".Thanks for pointing out it^^ User:Soivan52 "

  • What if it appears as a playable character in LEGO Batman 2? I'm not saying it will, but if it does, would it deserve its own page then (as in, not now because we don't know if it is)? --Berrybrick (Talk) 11:01, April 26, 2012 (UTC)
    • 'Course. We have pages for all playable characters starring in videogames. -Konicle2 19:12, May 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • They are from two totally different themes. Darth henry Talk Pain sig! - Burning eyes! 06:01, May 12, 2012 (UTC)
  • Per Darth Henry, they're completely different. Why merge? Grovyle4life-A'm actually still alive, everybody 13:29, May 16, 2012 (UTC)
  • Per Grovyle4life, they AREN'T completely different. They shares the same torso, hips and legs. But this minifigure don't have a name! IF it plays, even a bit, role in the game, then it should have it's own page. If not, and I'm pretty sure he won't, then we should merge (or handle with the way I mentioned before). Objection? User:Soivan52
  • I just noticed this, actually. He's in the trailer to, if you look closely he's in one of the panels surrounding Joker at some point. --Berrybrick (Talk) 10:52, May 24, 2012 (UTC)
  • I've noticed this when you added the source of Zod and brainiac but this is the actual scene from the game. Anyway let's wait until the game is released and find it out. User:Soivan52

Orc and Mordor Orc merge to Mordor Orc

It's literally the same page and minifigure. The only difference is the title. I don't see Orc used in either of the descriptions for the set appearances (we only have it for one though) and the description from LEGO.com names it Moror Orc. Why do we have two pages?

Discussion

  • Merge, as nominator. --Berrybrick (Talk) 19:09, May 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • Merge - no idea why separate pages exist at all. -Konicle2 19:13, May 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • Merge - they're the same thing, really 173.52.107.133 19:31, May 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • They are exactly the same. Someone start'a'merging. Darth henry Talk Pain sig! - Burning eyes! 06:03, May 12, 2012 (UTC)

Concept Art and Prototype merge to Prototype

  • Disagree I think there should be a small section about concept art on the prototype page, but have only a summery. Then just put the concept art in prototype's "see also" section and reverse. Grovyle4life-A'm actually still alive, everybody 13:47, May 30, 2012 (UTC)
