The Fourth Doctor was the fourth incarnation of The Doctor in the Classic Doctor Who.
Filled with wanderlust and a renewed curiosity towards exploring time and space, the Fourth Doctor left all ties of his previous incarnation's exile behind on Earth, setting off to travel the Cosmos. He was particularly known for his long, multicoloured scarf and his particular fondness for Jelly Babies.
He initially travelled with Sarah Jane Smith and Harry Sullivan, but Harry chose to remain on Earth when the opportunity arose. The Doctor and Sarah continued on their adventures until the Doctor was summoned to Gallifrey, necessitating that he leave Sarah Jane behind as the Time Lords did not allow humans within their own domain. His later companions included Leela, a savage descended from the crew of a crashed spaceship, K-9, a mobile computer resembling a dog, Romana, a fellow Time Lord, and Adric, a boy genius from another universe.
Occasionally he worked for UNIT as his predecessor, the Third Doctor, had done, though these occurrences became less frequent later in his lifetime.
He was killed by falling to his death from the Pharos Project's radio telescope, and regenerated into the Fifth Doctor.
- He appears in the Classic Who Minifigure Series.
