A grappling hook is a tool used for climbing and swinging across gaps. This LEGO version was designed by readingrancor11 for Batman and Robin, but has since been used by several other minifigures from various themes.

Instructions[]
Thread the floss down into the megaphone.
Attach a stud to hold the floss in place.
Thread the other end of the floss through the hole at the end of the 3-hook.
Push the TECHNIC pin onto the hook/floss with the stud end down (away from the hook)
Wind the floss around the megaphone.
Attach the TECHNIC pin to the orange stud.
Then give it to Batman or some other minifigure so they can use it.
To use the hook: Detach the TECHNIC pin from the stud to "fire", then hook it around something, such as this.
Notes[]
- Feel free to use this in your own MOCs. I won't sue you.
- I played around with different colors, but settled on these. If you want to change the colors a little bit when building one for yourself, go right ahead.
- The quality of the dental floss doesn't matter, but be aware that if you use cheap dental floss, you will have to replace it more often. Good, shred-proof floss lasts longer.
