After Superman died, using his DNA (as well as Lex Luthor's), Cadmus (a government organization) attempted to create their own Superman to do their bidding. Several drafts were developed, but not accepted by Cadmus. The last clone escaped before he became full grown, and went to Metropolis (using artificial memories) where he claimed to the public that he was a clone of Superman, and tried to take up the Superman mantle, but most people refered to his as Superboy. When Superman returned resurrected, he allowed the clone to use the Superboy name, gave him the Kryptonian name Con-El (the name of one of Superman's ancestors), and the civilian identity, Conner Kent.
Designer's Notes Edit
- Superboy's design uses aspects from the Robin and Superman minifigures
- There is a second Superboy variation I made. It's only a somewhat older version of the character, made to match an older version of Robin I made.
