Deadshot, also known as Floyd Lawton, is a Super Heroes minifigure who appears in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. He is only available in handheld versions of the game, in which he is unlocked for purchase after finding the second minikit in Brawl at City Hall. He is also in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

Background

As a young boy, Floyd Lawton idolized his brother. One day his mother convinced his brother to kill his father. Locked outside, Floyd grabbed a gun so he could disarm his brother and save him from his grim future. He climbed onto a branch, but it broke and Floyd accidentally killed his beloved brother. Floyd became a sharpshooter under the name "Deadshot", and claims to have never missed a target. He first appeared in Gotham City as a new vigilante, with a plan to kill Batman and replace him. However, his plans were revealed and thwarted. Ever since, he has been an enemy of Batman and Gotham's other vigilantes and has teamed up with other villains against the Justice League.

Floyd Lawton is an assassin who is best known for dosing his bullets with a neurotoxin called curare (even if the targets suffered non lethal shots or wored a bulletproof vest they would still die by the toxin) and tattos the name of the targets he killed on his body, Deadshot was hired to assassinate Oliver's stepfather Walter Steele but Oliver as the Arrow stops him and kills him, It was also revealed that he killed John Diggle's brother Andy. As it turns out Deadshot survived but lost an eye, he was hired to kill Malcolm Merlyn in addition China White gave him a new face-mounted targeting device. After finding out about his survival Diggle is obsessed with killing Deadshot to avenge his brother. Oliver and Diggle came up with a plan to find Deadshot and finally kill him but Oliver wasn't there and Deadshot flees the scene but tells Diggle he will only kill him if he was paid for it. Deadshot was placed in a Russian prison where he meets Diggle who was on an operation to rescue Lyla Michaels and required Deadshot's help on the condition Deadshot escapes also when the operation was a success Diggle does not kill Deadshot in exchange Deadshot revealed that an organisation called H.I.V.E hired him to kill his brother. He became a member of the Suicide Squad at the time of Diggles joined the squad they both bond over the love of their family members Diggle for lovin his brother Andy and Deadshot for loving his daughter Zoe. He is one of the two villians to have lost an eye to Oliver, the first being Slade Wilson.

Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham

Deadshot, along with Deathstroke and Mad Hatter can be unlocked during free play, in the mission "Big Trouble in Little Gotham".

Notes

  • Floyd Lawton appears in the Arrow TV Series although doesn't appear in the Arrow DLC for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. However he makes an appearance in the introduction of the Arrow level.
  • The New 52 version of Deadshot was announced with the "Squad" DLC
