A Death Star Droid, also known as an RA-7 Protocol Droid, was a low-level intelligence protocol droid used by the Galactic Empire to spy on officials. Thanks to the RA-7, many officers were often called to so called "buisness trips." Few ever returned. These droids had black plating, and were very similar in appearance to C-3PO.
