[edit] Physical Description
Two different variations of the average Ewok have been seen.
[edit] 2002 minifigures and variations
The first Ewok minifigures were introduced in 2002 in the set 7139 Ewok Attack, released in the Star Wars theme, in the Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi Subtheme. In this set came Paploo and Wicket, both Ewoks. Both minifigures came with short legs, a normal minifigure torso and arms and an exclusive and larger than normal headpiece.
Both minifigures had short legs, the exact same used on Yoda, but colored brown. They had a brown torso and brown arms along with brown hands. Both came with a larger than normal headpiece, that covered the complete front of the torso. It depicted the facial and body features of the Ewoks. Paploo had an entirely white or cream colored headpiece and came with a bow and arrow, and Wicket had an entirely brown colored headpiece and came with a spear.
[edit] Video Game Variation
The next type of Ewoks seen in the LEGO form were seen in the video game Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy released in 2006. Wicket and Paploo appear in the game. Their variations look like the 2009 ones, but Wicket's hood is red. Normal Ewoks appear just like Wicket in his 2009 variation. These same variations all appeared again in Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
[edit] 2009 minifigures and variations
Another Ewok minifigure has not been released since 2002, until 2009. Three Ewoks were released with the set 8038 The Battle of Endor, which was released in the Star Wars Theme, in the Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi theme. In this set came a redesigned Wicket and Paploo and the entirely new Chief Chirpa. All three minifigures came with short legs, a regular torso, arms and hands, and a new larger than normal headpiece.
Wicket came with brown small legs, a brown torso, brown hands, brown arms, and new redesigned head piece. The headpiece depicts the brown Wicket wearing a lighter brown hood, having two black eyes, two ears, and a furry face and body.
Paploo came with brown small legs, a brown torso, brown hands, brown arms, and new redesigned head piece. The headpiece depicts the brown Paploo wearing a cream colored hood, having two black eyes, two ears, and a furry face and body.
Chief Chirpa came with light grey small legs, a light grey torso, dark grey hands, light grey arms, and new redesigned head piece. The head piece depicts the light grey Chief Chirpa wearing a brown colored hood, having two black eyes, two ears, and a furry face and body. Chief Chirpa came with a Shaman Staff.
