  • The LEGO Dice has the same pieces as the Heroica sets (except for the Heroica Shield, which is replaced by The One Ring).
  • Lurtz appears as a microfigure, although this event took place in the second film, whereas Lurtz died in the first film.
  • Eomer was missing from this set, as he had also take part in this battle and he had released in Minifigures form in the same scene.
  • This is the final LEGO Games set to be made before the theme was discontinued.
