8742 Visorak Vohtarak is a BIONICLE set released in 2005 (in Europe it was released in December 2004). It is one of the six Visorak released. It comes with a Rhotuka spinner and launcher. There is a Kanoka Club Code on the back of the container; when combined with the code on the spinner, the code gives a user on LEGO.com Kanoka Club Points. Now that Kanoka Points are outmoded, the code gives users club points instead.

Vohtarak are one of the six breeds of Visorak, and are fiercely loyal to Sidorak. Their spinners can cause a terrible burning in their targets, disabling said target and reducing them to a state of unintelligible agony. The Vohtarak can then immobilize and capture the target. They are incredibly aggressive, preferring to wildly charge and launch Rhotuka spinners. While they are unable to control fire, they have a natural resistance to heat. The Vohtarak are also able to have “berserker charges” during which their outer shells become almost impervious to harm. Because of this, Sidorak used Vohtarak as ‘shock troops’ for large attacks.

- Pulling the ripcord out of the launcher quickly will launch the spinner.
- Pressing down on its carapace will open and close it's pincers.
- The Vohtarak is the equivalent of a fire Visorak.
