Cosmo Cool is a minifigure from the Town sub-theme Arctic. His job was to explore the arctic. He wore blue clothes and a hood. The minifigure was first produced in 1998. He also appears in the video game LEGO Racers 2 near the airbase, telling the player about a golden brick at the main base of the explorers. In the GBA version of LEGO Racers 2, Cosmo hosts the bonus game on the Arctic and gives a car bonus when the player wins the game.

In the January-February 2000 issue, he is described as such: "Cosmo is the coolest scientist in the Arctic. He's the only champion ice surfer, snow surfer, and web surfer. When he isn't searching the ice for fossils, Cosmo loves to plow through the snow in the polar plow. Sometimes he even carves our [out] giant messages in the snow for airplanes and UFO's to see."
