75025 Jedi Defender-class Cruiser is a Star Wars set released in 2013.
Background
The Defender-class light corvette was a specialised vessel built for the Jedi Order to function as a mobile base by the Rendili Vehicle Corporation, which they used throughout the Cold War and subsequent Second Great Galactic War. Manufactored on Corellia, it was modeled after a similar corvette that was modeled after a Thranta-class corvette. It was heavily shielded, and was armed with two sets of dual laser cannons and a complement of missiles. Throughout the Second Great Galactic War, the Defender-class vessel was used by the Jedi Order's best and brightest on their missions across the Galaxy. One such Defender-class vessel was stolen and used in a major event known as the Battle on the Hydian Way by a contingent of smugglers against a blockade of Mandalorians.
