Rex Tyrone[1] is a Dino minifigure introduced in 2012.
Background[]
Rex Tyrone is a member of the Dino Strike Team. He prefers driving the Off-Roader, and his favorite food is chicken. His record (which is tied with Sue Montana, Pilot, and Chuck "Stego" Jenkins) is catching 20 dinosaurs in a single day. His least favorite dinosaur is the raptor,[1] although he is happy spending the day hunting them.[2]
In the online LEGO Club Inside Scoop Story "Fossils and Feathers!", Rex Tyrone provides facts about real dinosaurs, such as feathered theropods. He notes that the dinosaurs faced by the Dino Strike Team differ considerably from the fossil records, leading him to suspect that the dinosaur invasion is not natural in origin.[3]
In LEGO Worlds, Rex Tyrone appears free downloadable content with the Dino Transport Cage brick build, which can be downloaded in the Builds Showcase. He is unlocked by completing his quest to feed the caged Coelophysis a drumstick.
