Class 4 article
This article is about the Racers figures. For the BIONICLE set of a similar name, see 8537 Nui-Rama.

A Rama[1] is an alien figure used in place of a Minifigure in the 2001 Crash It Racers sets.

Description[]

Ramas consist only of a single printed piece, with two different shapes featured in sets. As seen in LEGO Racers 2, Ramas are short creatures with stubby bodies/heads, and long legs, although their physical LEGO versions only show the the legs as quite stubby via some printing. All of the LEGO versions of Ramas show them holding a small steering wheel. Ramas are slightly taller than an average LEGO brick, but still shorter than 4 plates high.

Background[]

Ramas are race-loving aliens from the planet Xalax in the year 2210 AD. They compete in the Big Dome in Knossox city to be the best racer on the planet. When they crash into obstacles (including other Rama racecars), they are ejected from their driver's seats and go flying.

In LEGO Racers 2, Ramas meet and befriend Rocket Racer, renewing his confidence after his previous defeat. Challengers to the Galactic Racing Championship can use the intergalactic portal to Xalax and race against Ramas in the Big Dome. A large crowd of Ramas watch from the stands as an audience. Ramas are the only opponents in Xalax races (with the exception of the final challenge against Rocket Racer), and train the player during the Xalax Bonus Game.
