8990 Fero and Skirmix is a BIONICLE set released in 2009. It contains a Bone Hunter named Fero, and his Rock Steed, Skirmix.

- This was a Wal-Mart exclusive set in the USA.
- In Summer 2009 this set was repackaged to promote the new movie BIONICLE: The Legend Reborn.[1]
- Despite not being originally allied with the Skrall, Fero wears the same helmet as them.
