The Spartan Warrior, named Achilles Plutarch,[1] is a minifigure introduced in 2010, as a part of 8684 Minifigures Series 2.
Description[]
The Spartan Warrior has a nougat bronze cuirass torso, a dark red leather loincloth and sandal print legs, and a scowling bearded headpiece. His face has a black beard and a mustache. He has a longer and more detailed spear, a circular shield, a dark red cape, a Spartan helmet, and a black stand. The printed sandals on the bottom of both legs also go around both sides.

- The spear is more detailed than the Previous spear from Castle, Prince of Persia, and Knights Kingdom, is more ornate, durable and has a thick rubber tip. This spear also appears with the Tribal Chief from Series 3 and in brown. It also appeared with the Roman Soldier from Series 6 in brown, with the Aztec Warrior from Series 7 in gold, and with the Warrior Woman in brown with gold tip, and a light brown of the aforementioned one in the Battle Goddess.
- His helmet is the same as The Golden King from Atlantis but more metallic.
- He appeared in LEGO Universe as a vendor under the name "Achilles Plutarch".
- His "Did You Know" section on the LEGO Minifigures: Character Encyclopedia references the movie 300.

“For Sparta!” Since he doesn’t get to do much fighting, the Spartan Warrior tries all sorts of things to keep himself in fighting shape.
