Forums - Combiner Inventories

An idea which I've had for a while but decided to create a forum about today: Do you think we could have inventories for combiner models? No other LEGO sites do it and I'm not sure why, probably because they think there's no need to because the combiners are simply made up of two or more sets. This isn't true though as virtually no combiners contain all of the parts from all the sets (so there's a pile of parts left over at the end which you don't need).

There are many occasions where I (and I'm sure many of you) think you might be able to build a combiner using parts from your collection (for example Ghekula), but aren't sure if you have the sets required. If we have inventories for combiners here we could see what parts are actually needed from those sets to build the combiner model, without having to trawl through instructions for hours. Yay!

I would be more than happy to submit a few of said inventories, and I'm sure it'd be easy to alter the existing {{Model}} template which is used on combiner pages to link to the combiner's accompanying inventory page.

Obviously, we could do the same for alternate models and LEGO Club Buildits.
