One-piece figures

Ok, I think we need to sort something out for this issue sometime, so it may as well be now :) What should we do about things such as Snakes, Spiders, Norbert, etc which are one part figures, but can also be classified as characters or animals? The four alternatives I can think of/have seen are listed below as voting options NightblazeSaber 01:06, April 7, 2010 (UTC)

Options[]

Have the page at the part number[]

Have the page at the animal/character[]

Have the page title containing both the animal/character and part number[]

I think this is the best way to go on this, who knows what the part number for a animal is , but probably easily found when you search for snake. In the case of, for example the Elephant I think there should be separate page's for each part and also a page with the constructed Elephant listing and linking to the parts involved. (I know they aren't one piece. Maybe thats what we do already ha) Gladiatoring 01:52, April 7, 2010 (UTC)

Have two pages, one for the part, one for the animal/character[]

  • I like this idea better. -Mariofighter3: Brickfliming now in session! 02:03, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
  • Well, this is correct in some cases, where a piece represents two animals at once, or several different one-piece animals exist. e.g. wolf and dog are both portrayed by Part 48812. And there are two versions of rats (x1256 and 40234). So, having different pages for parts and animals makes sense here. This might also be appropriate for other animals, since it is always possible that new parts are going to be released. Also, the animal articles could contain info about model representations of said animals. --LegOtaku (talk • contr) 07:06, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
