Comment: USE GOOD QUOTES

"Please pass the salt."
—John Doe

After recently removing a quote from Dr. Julien (the entire quote was "Hello Zane"), it finally motivated me to make this forum. Can we have some sort of guidelines or conventions about quotes in an article? Most Ninjago minifigures have every single line of dialogue they've ever spoken in the TV series, I think it's getting a bit out of hand. Quotes should really be either someone else saying something about the character, or the character saying something profound shouldn't they? Take a look at the pages on Wooieepedia, the quotes fit in with the article nicely, and there are only a couple of them in an article- one at the top of the page, and one at the top of every major paragraph. Here, we have a wall of pointless quotes, most of which when taken out of context don't even make sense. NightblazeSaber 23:05, March 18, 2012 (UTC)

I was on the DC wiki last night, doing some research for something, and the quote that they had on the Barbara Gordon page was just "'You were always meant to be Batgirl, Barbara'-- Batman". Compare something simple like that about the character to "'Good! I will lead the way, and after that, I want some ninjas dealt with!'"--Lloyd to Fangtom". It really is getting out of hand. The LEGO Magazine had some character stats for each of the 2011 characters last year which included the quote. They were all something simple (but with a pun) that went with a character. I say just use those. The 2012 characters might be a little more difficult though, but somebody will add a quote eventually (if they haven't already) and we'll just have to remove it if it's a bad one. --Berrybrick (Talk) 00:41, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
