Halvautomatisk Legetöjspistol (translated as The Halfautomatic Pistol), first produced as a wooden toy in 1945 and later as a Plastic Toy in 1949, features a spring-loaded mechanism that could feed projectiles into the barrel from a magazine, allowing rapid firing.

Description[]

This set is a mainly black toy pistol. The pistol is one part, excluding projectiles.

Notes[]

  • The design was so novel that it became the first toy patented by LEGO.
  • It is the only toy that today, would be classed as a Realistic Imitation Firearm ever made by LEGO. It is also one of the few toys in LEGO's history that bypassed the company's policy of keeping war and weaponry outside of play.
