Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a subtheme of Indiana Jones based on the movie of the same title (the third in the series). The subtheme began in 2008, and only contained three sets.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade begins when Indy travels to Venice to find his father, Professor Henry Jones Sr., who has gone missing. He meets up with Elsa, who helps him find the tomb of Sir Richard, who, according to legend, was one of the Grail Knights. However, as they attempt to leave they are attacked by the Grail Brotherhood, led by Kazim, who wants the Grail to be kept secret. Indy admits he doesn't want the Grail and in return Kazim tells him where his father is; a prison in Germany.

Indy had been given a notebook by his father containing clues to the location of the Holy Grail. Indy rescues his father and together they board an airship to escape. They retrieve the notebook, which had been stolen by double-crossing Elsa and discover the location of the Grail. They are captured as soon as they arrive and Indy's father is kept as a hostage as Indy is forced to go inside, followed by Elsa and a Nazi called Donovan. Traversing the various traps guarding the Grail, Indy finds a room full of different cups, one of which is the Grail itself. Donovan chooses wrongly and dies horribly, but Indy chooses the right one, but is warned not to leave the temple with it. Elsa doesn't listen and there is a huge earthquake, where she falls through a crack in the earth, taking the Grail with her.
