Kai's Father (although it never says his real name) is a Ninjago minifigure introduced in a flashback in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, "Way of the Ninja."
Background
He also appeared in Spinjitzu Smash DX where he helped guide the ninja (Kai) in the Underworld to rescue Nya from Samukai and Lord Garmadon.
Kai's and Nya's Father fought alongside Sensei Wu and Lord Garmadon in battle. Later, in fear of his own demise, Sensei Wu made a map of the locations of the Four Golden Weapons and gave it to his friend. Kai's father later died and passed his blacksmith business to his son.
It is possible that he had the element of fire inside him, since its passed down from generation to generation.
Spinjitzu Smash DX
In Spinjitzu Smash DX game, Kai's father appears as a spirit to guide the ninja through the Underworld, and disappears shortly after. His appearance is very different than one on his picture from the flashback.
