Katana is a Super Heroes minifigure who appears in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.[1] She is only available with downloadable content and on portable versions of the game. She also appears in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham as a DLC character.
Description
Katana's hair piece is long and black. She wears a mask with an ovular section with a taller curve at each end and ovular white eyes. She has red lips. Katana wears grey armour over her torso which continues onto her legs. Her right arm is red and her legs are also decorated with red colouring. Her other arm, gloves, hips, and legs are grey.
Katana is able to use her namesake sword.
Background
Tatsu was a Japanese woman with a talent for martial arts. Two brothers, Maseo and Takeo Yamashiro, fell in love with her and sought to woo her. Tatsu chose Maseo in the end, though she liked both. Takeo became angry at her rejection, which caused him to disown his brother, and join the Yakuza.
Takeo returned to face his brother for Tatsu's love. In the following fight, a fire started which resulted in the deaths of Maseo and his children, only Tatsu escaped with her life. Tatsu then trained to become a Samurai and used the name Katana, after a sword which she had for a time, carried the soul of her husband. Katana relocated herself to America, where she was one of the original members of the Outsiders, a team of Super Heroes commanded by Batman. She later joined the Birds of Prey, a team of female superheroes.
