Merry is a The Lord of the Rings minifigure that will be released in 2012.
Background
Merry is part of the Fellowship of the Ring, along with Gandalf the Grey, Boromir, Aragorn, Frodo Baggins, Gimli, Legolas, Samwise Gamgee, and Pippin. He is with the Fellowship in Moria, Lothlorien, and at Amon Hen. He sees Boromir fall, and he and his fellow Hobbit Pippin are taken by the Uruk-hai. However, they escape after the Uruk-hai are attacked by Rohirrim on the Riddermark, and flee into Fangorn Forest, where they are found by the Ent, Treebeard. The Ents attack Isengard. After this attack, he and Pippin are reunited with Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn in Edoras. He is with the Rohirrim in the battle of Pelennor Fields, and survives the Battle of the Morannon.
