Mr. Krabs is a minifigure in the SpongeBob SquarePants theme, first released in 2006.

Details Edit

Mr. Krabs has short, nonarticulated legs and a unique molded head. Whereas in the television show he has large red claws, his LEGO minifigure features regular dark gray hands (the Atlantis Lobster Guardian would later introduce new red claw parts for a similar character).

Background Edit

Mr. Krabs is the cheap, stingy owner and manager of the Krusty Krab restaurant, and employer of SpongeBob and Squidward. He is obsessed with money and will go to any length to save a few cents or earn a few more. Despite knowing that his business almost completely depends on SpongeBob's mastery with the spatula, he will manipulate and overwork his employees any chance he gets. He also has to contend with constant attempts by his business rival, Plankton, to steal the secret and lucrative Krabby Patty formula. He's not married but has a daughter, a whale named Pearl.

This deep-sea entrepreneur worships the all mighty dollar. When not counting his earnings in his office at the Krusty Krab, he can be found scheming other ways to make more money, and ways to foil Plankton’s plans to steal his Krabby Patty secret formula (a recipe to us land dwellers).
