Orders are orders....(even highly suspicious ones) is the fifth in a series of animated online comics depicting stories from the Clone Wars universe.

Story

Asajj Ventress is seen bowing before a holo-image of Count Dooku telling her that he has a new mission for her in an unknown temple. The scene changes, and a Republic Attack Gunship and two V-19 Torrent Starfighters are seen flying toward Rodia. Within a troop bay of one of the gunships, Obi-Wan Kenobi is telling Commander Cody that their orders came from the Supreme Chancellor himself after Cody questions their orders because the planet is friendly to the Republic. Their V-19 Torrent escort leaves as the Gunship hovers over a group of Separatist droids. Cody and Obi-Wan discover that it is an ambush and fly out of the firing zone as they are pursued by two Droid Gunships. The Gunship turns around, discovering that it is not a very good ambush and blows one of the droid fighter out of the air, while Obi-Wan jumps onto the other one and destroys it. He lands next to the landed gunship and tells Cody that he can sense that it is not yet over. The Clone Troopers around them suddenly hover into the air as Asajj Ventress and several Battle Droids march out of the bushes. Asajj jumps away tempting Obi-Wan to follow her. Obi-Wan takes the speeder from the gunship to follow Ventress while Cody "occupies" the droids. Asajj is seen running down a small bridge like platform when Kenobi lands the speeder in from of her and the two of them are soon locked in a lightsaber duel. Obi-Wan trips backwards over the speeder and Asajj jumps into the air with her lightsabers saying that this is where it ends and propels herself toward Obi-Wan. The scene then fades into the Cody and the Clones sitting at a table playing a card game with the Droids predicting the outcome of the battle. This comic was 'to be continued...'
