Qui-Gon Jinn was a Jedi Master from the Star Wars series of sets. Two versions of Qui-Gon have been released- one with yellow skin, and another with flesh-colored skin and a different Jedi robe. He was the Jedi Master who taught Obi-Wan Kenobi, his apprentice. He, while with Padme Amidala, found and relied on Anakin Skywalker to get off of Tatooine after a rough landing. After Anakin pulled through, winning the Podrace and the parts for the cruiser, he promised to teach him to be a Jedi, believing he was the "Chosen One". However, on a mission to protect Queen Amidala on Naboo, he was killed by Darth Maul. But Obi-Wan vowed to teach Skywalker the arts of a Jedi Knight, arguing with Yoda until he got what he wished for.
