R4-P17 was Obi-Wan Kenobi's red droid. R4 piloted both Obi-Wan's Delta-7 and Eta-2 Jedi Starfighters. She was originally only a head wired into Obi-Wan's Delta-7, however when the Eta-2's came out, she got a body added onto her. R4-P17 was destroyed in the Battle of Coruscant in Obi-Wan's red Eta-2. So far, R4-P17 has only appeared as a head.

In 7143 Jedi Starfighter, R4-P17 was a normal red R2 head. In the 7283 Ultimate Space Battle, R4-P17 debuted as a full color dark red head.
