Rescue was a subtheme of Lego Town. Most of its sets involved Police, Firefighters and Coast Guard. The first two sets of Rescue were already released in 1991 and 1992 respectively. However, the bulk of the Rescue sets was released from 1993 to 1996. In these years all police and firefighter sets were released as part of Rescue. Before 1993 most of the police and firefighter related sets were simply released as part of Town.
